Do you need to answer these kinds of questions from your constituents and bosses?

  • Is there an easier way to generate estimates?
  • How can I find out what the latest pay item prices are?
  • I would like to share my estimates with co-workers while I continue to work on it.

The Project Estimator enables a project design engineer to create road and bridge project estimates.  Features of the Project Estimator are:

  • Reporting capabilities including the Engineer's Opinion of Costs listing pay items, estimated quantities, and estimated prices.
  • Seamless importing and exporting of project estimates and contracts between Project Estimator users as well as to  Trns*Port project management system and into Field Manager.
  • Searchable Pay Item Lists--either by Pay Item Code or by Pay Item Description.
  • Regional and statewide Average Unit Prices broken down quarterly for the 2003 Pay Item Codes.
  • Local Pay Item codes which allow the user to create Pay Item codes for use in Local Contracts.
  • Multi-user/Network environment available so all users at an agency can connect to a shared database that contains all Contracts/Projects/Estimates.
