The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has released a report that summarizes the proceedings of a peer exchange held in Traverse City, Michigan, on July 18-19, 2006. The peer exchange brought representatives from state departments of transportation together with representatives of metropolitan planning organizations to examine the use of asset management techniques in the metropolitan planning process.
