Online - Introduction to RoadSoft Training Series
DATES: Five Morning Sessions: Monday, October 11, 2010 – Friday, October 15, 2010.
TIME: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM (EST)
DESCRIPTION:
This online training series will consist of five, 2-hour sessions that will introduce users to RoadSoft. Users will be introduced to topics to help them get started with RoadSoft, use the Laptop Data Collector (LDC), and manage their RoadSoft database. This training will be presented using the RoadSoft 7.0 release.
Each individual session will be presented via the web, and will provide users with the opportunity to learn more about RoadSoft and to interact with the experts at Michigan Tech’s Center for Training & Technology (CTT). Sessions will take place from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM (EST) on the following dates:
October 11, 2010 — Session 1: Training Overview / Understanding RoadSoft
October 12, 2010 — Session 2: Using the Road Module
October 13, 2010 — Session 3: Data Collection in RoadSoft / Using the LDC
October 14, 2010 — Session 4: Managing Your RoadSoft Data
October 15, 2010 — Session 5: Intro to Safety Analysis / Using Crash Data
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This training is designed for new RoadSoft users and users wishing to gain more understanding of introductory RoadSoft concepts and best practices.
COST & REGISTRATION:
The cost to attend this series is $45 per connection, which covers phone and web conferencing costs.
This fee allows you to attend as many or as few days of training as you wish and you may have multiple participants at your agency listening in to a single connection. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

TO PARTICIPATE:
This training is a web-based training, so you can participate from the comfort of your office. You will need a computer with a high speed Internet connection for the video portion of the presentation and a phone for the audio portion of the presentation. Detailed instructions will be provided to all those who register.
