Introduction to RoadSoft: Online Training Series

DESCRIPTION:
This May, RoadSoft users can take advantage of the first online “Introduction to RoadSoft” training series. This online training will consist of five, 2-hour sessions that will introduce users to RoadSoft. Users will be introduced to topics to help them get started with RoadSoft, use the Laptop Data Collector (LDC), and manage their RoadSoft database.

Each individual session will be presented via the web, and will provide users with the opportunity to learn more about RoadSoft and to interact with the experts at Michigan Tech’s Center for Technology and Training (CTT). Sessions will take place from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM (EST) on the following dates:

May 11, 2009 — Session 1: Training Overview / Understanding RoadSoft
May 12, 2009 — Session 2: Using the Road Module
May 13, 2009 — Session 3: Data Collection / Using the LDC
May 14, 2009 — Session 4: Managing Your RoadSoft Database
May 15, 2009 — Session 5: Intro to Safety Analysis / Using Crash Data

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
New RoadSoft users and users wishing to gain more understanding of introductory RoadSoft concepts and best practices.

TO REGISTER:
There is no cost to attend this training series; please register early to ensure your participation. To register, email your contact information (name, company, and phone number) to ltap@mtu.edu or call the Michigan LTAP office at 906-487-2102.

TO PARTICIPATE:
This training is a web-based training, so you can participate from the comfort of your office. You will need a computer with a high speed Internet connection for the video portion of the presentation and a phone for the audio portion of the presentation. Detailed instructions will be provided to all those who register.
