PASER Training - Brighton

Mar 18 2009 - 7:30am
Mar 18 2009 - 3:30pm
Etc/GMT-4

Michigan's Transportation Asset Management Council (TAMC) has again contracted Michigan's Local Technical Assistance Program to conduct the annual PASER training for anyone participating in and being reimbursed by TAMC in 2009 for federal aid pavementcondition rating or non-federal aid local pavement condition rating.

Who Needs To Attend?
At it's January meeting, the TAMC Data Subcommittee adopted the training requirement for 2009:
"Anyone who plans on participating in PASER condition data collection in 2009 on the federal aid system or the non-federal aid local system, and expects reimbursement from the TAMC for their effort, must attend a full PASER training session."

There will no longer be morning and afternoon sessions. Material will not be repeated during the afternoon session. RPOIMPO TAMC Coordinators and other participants experienced with the PASER rating process will be expected to contribute to the discussion on the PASER methodology.

The training will include expanded coverage on rating composite pavements, the recent updating of composite inventories statewide, expanded coverage on rating concrete (in S. MI), insights on why condition data is being collected and how agencies can use the data to their benefit.

Registration
All participants MUST register in advance for the training. Space is limited.

This fee will not be refunded for no-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the start of the session. This fee, travel and training time is reimbursable through your agency's planning organization.

There is a $50 fee for participants from non-Act 51 agencies or private companies. This fee will not be refunded for no-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the start of the session.

Lunch and break refreshments are included.
