Traffic Safety Analysis Workshop -- Lansing, MIJul 28 2008 - 7:30am Jul 28 2008 - 4:30pm Etc/GMT-4 Traffic Safety Analysis - From Finding The Problem To Fixing It July 28, 2008 Safe roads are a priority whether you manage a few local roads or are responsible for thousands of miles of freeway. The challenge for local agencies trying to improve safety on their road network is: “What can I do and how do I find the resources to do it given all my other commitments?” Historically, completing traffic safety analysis even on a small network of roads was a time consuming process, consisting of sorting through endless piles of crash reports, drawing and redrawing crash diagrams while looking for common elements. The RoadSoft Safety Module was designed specifically to provide tools and data to help local agencies screen their road network for crash problems with minimal effort. RoadSoft comes with 10 years of located crash data and a road map pre-loaded, so from day one an agency can start safety analysis. This workshop will take participants through the safety process from screening their network Who Should Attend? For more information see the workshop brochure below, or call (906) 487-2102.
