DESCRIPTION
The 46th Annual Michigan County Engineers’ Workshop, sponsored by the County Road Association of Michigan (CRAM) and coordinated through Michigan’s Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP), provides county and municipal engineers opportunities to:
Listen as industry experts and peers present innovative ways to build, manage, and maintain roads and bridges.
Learn how the latest research and legislation affects the construction and maintenance of county roads and city streets.
Discuss equipment, products, and services that are relevant to the needs of county and city road agencies. .

The HMA Mix Design professional development training will provide a detailed overview of the mix design process. Participants will learn about the strengths and weaknesses of Marshall and Superpave mixes. They will also learn how to properly evaluate asphalt binder performance characteristics, how to identify the right mix design for the job, how to troubleshoot placement problems and make adjustments to accommodate recycled materials. The workshop will include case studies from actual Michigan road projects.

COST and REGISTRATION:
Cost for the CEW and HMA Mix Design training: $195

This fee includes break refreshments, lunch, conference materials, and handouts. The registration fee does not include the cost of a hotel room.

ACCOMMODATIONS
