This workshop will guide participants through developing a long
term road improvement plan using RoadSoft-GIS. Participants will
learn the basics of working with RoadSoft’s pavement deterioration
model and strategy analysis engine to determine a network wide
strategy. The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Determining pavement fix costs to use in the model
- Working with deterioration curves
- Working with pavement types and subtypes
- Using the strategy optimizer
- Developing network level treatment strategies
- Selecting road project candidates
- Scheduling projects
- Reporting to stakeholders
